[picture of the Andronicus Chapter House]Goal

The goal of the Andronicus Renovated Chapter House project ("the ARCH project") is to repair and rejuvinate the physical aspects of the Andronicus Chapter House, and in doing so help create an environment that is more condusive to the academic, social, and professional nature of Alpha Rho Chi.

How it works

The concept is simple: we have identified several projects ranging in size and complexity from replacing lightbulbs to re-roofing the woodshop. Larger projects are broken down into smaller requests. For example, a painting project might include separate requests for brushes, rollers, masking tape, drop cloths and, of course, the paint itself.

A sponsor selects one of these requests to fulfill, either through helping towards the monetary costs of the project (though you don't have to sponsor the entire amount), agreeing to assist in the realization of the project (we always need willing labor), or by donating the materials (perhaps old, unused, discarded, or scraps) for the project.

You can find out more about becoming a sponsor here.

Project Organizers

The ARCH project is being spearheaded by members of the Andronicus Alumni Association and is being coordinated with similar efforts by the undergraduate members of the Andronicus Chapter. The administration and several faculty members of the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California have also expressed their support.
